BITCHCRAFT + WHIP 'N ROD CORPORAL Spank 1970s

Another of the emerging genres of the early 1970s, in the form of full-sized adult only magazines, was spanking, corporal punishment, male and female domination titles published by Eros Gold Stripe and Unique Publications. Love the covers and satanic overtones of the Bitchcraft magazines! Women in fetish outfits were also part of the attraction of the Bitchcraft magazines as well as the use of lingerie, garter belts and stockings throughout the other titles. In principle, a women is much more seductive partially dressed in lingerie, especially if her ass is being spanked. Here's a taste of the sting of the hand and the whip from deep in the archives.

ENGLISH NUDES Everard Bird Roye 1930s ~ '40s

Three of the best photographers of the female nude in the United Kingdom in the late 1930s and 1940s, John Everard, Horace Roye and Walter Bird and largely unknown outside of the world of collectors. All three were members of the Camera Studies Club. A publisher as well as a mail order company offering original, high quality prints by the three photographers for sale to the public.

Leading up to WWII and just after, their work appeared in numerous books including: Everard's Artist's Model, Judgement of Paris; Horace Roye's The Irish Maid, The English Maid, etc. plus Eves Without Leaves; and Bird's "beauty" series Beauty's Self and Beauty's Daughter. Here is a selection from deep in my archives of vintage prints of their exceptional photographs of the female nude.

Euro Nudist Magazines 1960s ~ Friends of the Sun

In the late '50s early '60s some of the most beautiful magazines in the adult genre were the medium format nudist publications from Europe. The main titles were Helios, Sonnen Freunde, Tidlosa and Gymnos. All were associated with major nudist organizations and together with the high quality printing and attractive design were vehicles for promoting the concepts of natural living. Most had distribution "bureaus" in the United States with texts translated to English and were amongst the first magazines showing full-frontal, unretouched nudity. Here in no particular order, from deep in my archives, a selection of images circa early 1960s.
