Back to Paris in a few days for the San Sulpice Book & Paper Fair as well as the Bievres Photo Fair both held outdoors in the wonderful June weather. Links to San Sulpice and Bievres. The internet photo of Bievres above is from maybe 40 years ago. In it's 50th year the fair began as a camera and hardware market and over the years expanded to include collectible photographs. It's a wonderful weekend about 20 minutes outside Paris. Email if you in Paris and would like to get together at the fairs or for a drink.
Meanwhile I will be making the rounds of my colleagues, friends, collectors and dealers in the ongoing discovery of new treasures for my clients and colleagues. Here are links to other noteworthy shows and exhibitions: Monumenta 2014 the annual "site specific" project installation at the Grande Palais; Tattooists, Tattooed at the Musee du quai Branly; Lucio Fontana at the Musee d'Art Moderne; Cartier Foundation 30th Anniversary exhibition; the ongoing 25th Anniversary exhibition of Raw Vision at the Halle St.Pierre.
