Prior
to her extensive modeling career with Irving and Paula Klaw, Joan "Eve"
Rydell, a local New York City girl, began selling her photographs via
mail order. She worked with a very competent photographer, advertising
and selling photos via ads in girlie magazines. Her photographs began to
appear circa 1949. Photographs posted here are rare, large format 8 x
10" images, self-published and from deep in the archives. She had a
wonderful face and figure and knew how to strike a pose!
