Rarely seen Glamour Guide Semi-Annual #1 published by Selbee in New York City, circa 1957 featuring Joann Bliss on the cover and the always marvelous, voluptuous Latina, Anita Ventura throughout. Ventura's long black hair, streaked white in the center, her gorgeous face and seductive figure made her a stand out of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Where is Anita, her daughters and grand daughters today?

Continuing with the series of posts devoted to American "girlie" magazines of the late 1950s, early 1960s. Primarily full-size, "newsstand" magazines aimed at the mature buyer, retaining a mix of partially nude models, risque tease photography, fiction and non-fiction articles. My criteria for posting starts with the cover and continues inside with seductive models in combination with great layouts and graphic design.
