EURO Trip Collectible Fairs May June '16

After weeks of a big listing push of a recently acquired collection into my eBay store it's time to head back to Europe for a string of collectible fairs bridging two weekends. OSTRA Derrieres Lingerie Fetish Paris 1920s~'30s

"C" is for chatte! The Ostra Studio in Paris was the culmination of immigrant brothers from Hungary joining forces to create the largest body of work devoted to "fetish tableaux" in the '20s and '30s. Their particular interest in derrieres, fetish clothing, bondage and s/m fantasies has left a significant and in many ways, unsurpassed legacy, whose influence can be seen today in the worlds of photography and fashion. ELMER BATTERS Black Silk Stockings late '50s

Prior to Tip Top, The Nylon Jungle and his catch phrase Tip of the Toes to the Top of the Hose, Elmer Batters created Black Silk Stockings at the end of the 1950s. Photographed, designed and published by Batters these, the earliest full-size "garters & hose" magazines, set the bar for what would soon follow from Parliament magazines in the early '60s ... with the content and editorial direction in Batters' hands.
