A must see exhibition at the decorative arts museum, which is part of the Louvre, is La Mecanique des Dessous. An Indiscreet History of the Silhouette. An exceptionally well detailed and beautifully presented exhibition of undergarments from metal corsets and chastity belts to contemporary couture fashions incorporating the classic shape of the corset.
